How to Add a Signature to WordPress Blog Posts

Have you ever wondered how bloggers add a special ‘signature’ design at the bottom of every blog post? Well I’m going to show you how to add a signature to wordpress blog posts today!
First, you’ll need to create the signature image you’d like to use. Tip: It’s best to save the image as a .png file. Here’s a few options to choose from:
- Use graphic software like Adobe Photoshop, PicMonkey.com or Canva.com
- Sign a piece of paper and scan it.
- Have a custom design created by a graphic designer like me.
Here’s a couple real life examples of custom signature designs we’ve created for clients – to match their branding:

- Login to your WordPress dashboard.
- Upload your signature image to your MEDIA library.
- Once you’ve written your blog post, simply insert your image into the bottom of the post. You’re done!

This came in so handy! Thank you Tana!
Yay! So glad Bethany. Can’t wait to see what you’ve come up with. xo
This was SOOOO helpful. I tried so many other plugins and settings and couldn’t get it right. This fixed everything immediately!
YAY! Glad this worked for you.
Tana,
This was an absolute life saver. After aimlessly scouring Google, trying countless plugins and wrecking my brain trying to figure out why nothing was working, I stumbled across your tutorial on Google and was so excited to see that you had written it. I immediately knew THIS would work, and of course it was the easiest thing of all. Thanks for this it made my life so much easier haha!
Yay! I love Google and am so glad that you came across me again… and always happy to make your life easier! xo
Thank you for this info! Just added my signature to my posts and I love it!!
Good job Jeana! I just took a peek… and it looks fabulous!!!
Yay, it worked perfectly! Thank you for this!! Do you know if there is a way to “centerize” the signature?
Are you using the Genesis Club Lite plugin to add it automatically to the bottom of your posts?
Yes I am.
Then there’s not a way to center it using this plugin. I manually add my signature to my posts for this reason – and it only adds 2 seconds of time to do it manually!
Ah ok, makes sense! I have no issue doing it manually but if I change the signature I don’t want to have to update all the posts so I was happy when I found your blog post. Thanks again!
