This booth by Melissa Biador has sooo many things that I love; the simplicity, the attention to detail, the saying A LOT with very little space..

Here’s some of the Behind-the-Scenes info…

-The booth was designed and built by Melissa and her husband. It was designed to look like a lounge and to be inviting to visitors.

-The wall was painted a mint color to match Melissa’s branding.

-The fabric bunting was made with fabric to match the businesses’ branding colors as well (peach, mint, light teal and gray).  FYI: the bunting needs thick rope due to the weight of carrying a number of fabric pieces.

-The coffee table, borrowed from Melissa’s office, was from Ikea. The damask gray chair was purchased at Ross a few years ago. And the mint candle holder was purchased at Anthropologie.  I love using items that you already have, see more on this topic here.

-The floral arrangements were done by Desiree of Penny Blooms Floral Design. I think this makes the booth even more fresh and inviting!

-A few pieces showcasing her work, a slideshow, and a copy of a feature in San Diego Style Weddings was also on display. This shows visitors your style + adds credibility.

-Wooden LOVE letters were purchased from Michael’s and painted a peach color to match her branding.

-Postcards with business information contained decorative ribbon in gray, mint, peach and white for a finished look.

-Cake pops personally made by her mom became the ‘walk away treats’. I love how they used colored straws, bakers twine and flags that said, “Love is Sweet” with her website printed on them.

Melissa did a great job of carrying her brand throughout…and adding personal touches to the overall modern romance booth experience.

  1. Woah! I’m really loving the template/theme of this site.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s challenging to get that “perfect balance” between usability
and appearance. I must say you’ve done a very good job with this.
In addition, the blog loads super fast for
    me on Firefox. Excellent Blog!
