Welcome to Trade Show Inspiration, where you can share in my love for marketing, design + trade show spaces. I hope you become inspired to take your booth space up a notch!
Recently we did a consultation with a business that does several trade shows a year. They were asking for ideas and guidance on how to use the same booth, but with a few changes and/or additions to match the season (time of year) of the various shows they would be participating in.
So we thought it would be a good idea to show you how one business, Willow Lane Photography, has ‘refreshed’ their existing booth space to fit various trade show seasons.
The main image above showcases their bridal show booth at the Edmonton, Alberta September 2013 show.
At this time of year, Willow Lane Photography went with a gray and white ‘cooler vibe’ palette.
-walls were painted a light gray
-a couple of branch trees had vibrant flowers and crystal beads cascading down
-a white couch with a black wood trim and gray pillows
-a white desk housing white framed photographs
-wood stumps were painted white – perfect for providing ‘tables’ for flowers and photographs
-vibrant, colorful flowers in a variety of white vases
-business signage was created on a white background with gray writing. I love this sign BTW!
When you put all of these details together, you have a soft, moody and elegant space with bursts of vibrancy – that really showcase their photographs. Well done!
Next week, we’ll show you a ‘wintery’ Willow Lane Photography booth, so stay tuned for part II.
