WordPress is the blogging software that I use for yourmarketingbff.com. Trust me – it’s super easy to use and super easy to install WordPress on Bluehost!
If you skipped over Step 4: How To Set Up Hosting With Bluehost, you’ll need to go back and do that step first, found here.
Login to your Bluehost account and click on hosting (at the top) to get inside the cPanel. Scroll down to the ‘Website Builders’ section and select WORDPRESS from the list.
On the next page click the INSTALL button on the Do It Yourself Free section.
Click on the CHECK DOMAIN button.
Place a check in the terms and conditions box, then click INSTALL NOW button.
Once you arrive at the YOUR INSTALL IS COMPLETE page, you’ll want to click on the VIEW CREDENTIALS button and write down your Admin URL, Username, and password. Important: You will need this information for logging into your wordpress site. Note: You can always change these to something more memorable at a later date.
Now that you have your login information, type your Admin Url into your web browser. You will see a login screen that looks like this:
Enter your Username and Password. The ones you wrote down from the previous step.
YAY! You’ve officially installed WordPress on Bluehost and have logged into your blog. CONGRATULATIONS!!!
Step 6: Design your blog.
